Took me a long time to make this because I’m busy but making cardboard box stuff weirdly relaxes me so here goes our most recently published youtube video with the Gold Villain Race Car and the Pink Diamond Mystery !

Biggest Rainbow Cardboard Box Bus

I’ve been wanting to craft up a cardboard box Bus for awhile now but haven’t had the inspiration to design one until last week.   The word “Rainbow Bus” literally just popped out of my head one morning while enjoying my yoghurt soaked muesli, then the next thing you know I’m at the bookstore with Bug buying coloured papers, masking tapes, cardboard boxes etc.

I wish I took pictures of the progress but alas I was too busy, the house was messy, and the dogs are just crazy for those coloured papers.  But anyways, this is simpler to build compared to the cardboard box Train or the Frozen Fever Car or the Fire Truck that I have previously made.

There are two things I should probably tell you if you’re interested in making this.  First, is that I used 6 square cardboard boxes to make the bus.  1,2,4, and 5 are closed boxes.  The 3 and 6 are open boxes on both sides (so that Bug can go in the Bus ).  I used 6 square boxes instead of 3 large rectangular boxes because it is more durable that way.

I glued and then taped the boxes together before adding the colored papers.

Second, underneath the bus I added a thin piece of wood for added support, I cut a hole on one side ( like the image shown above ) for Bug’s feet to go thru.  The big orange dots are where I placed the wheels (bought from hardware store ).

Easy and a very fun project to make with kids because they enjoy cutting flowers and stripes and then pasting them on the Bus.

Fire Fighter Song and DIY Cardboard Box Fire Truck and Fire Extinguisher

Hi guy!  I have decided to do more nursery rhymes videos because Bug loves listening and reading them these days.  I really love this video and I hope your kids will love this too !

I’m a fire fighter on the go
Here’s my Helmet
Here’s my Suit
At the red light hear me shout
Get the engine and lets go !!!

I’m a fire fighter on the go
I slide down the big long pole
Ride my truck and hear me shout
Move over, there’s a house on fire !!!

I’m a fire fighter on the go
Here’s my ladder
Here’s my hose
When I see fire hear me shout
Turn the hose on, put the fire out !!!

DIY Corrugated Box Fire Truck

I actually did a tutorial video right HERE ( it’s at 6:08).    But if you prefer reading about it in detail then please continue 😉

First of all, stick two large corrugated boxes together using hot glue (picture on the right).   I also used packing tape inside and underneath just to make sure it’s stuck together.  Then I used a little glue to cover the whole thing with red cardboard paper — just a little glue since the next step is covering the whole thing with packing tape.  This way if the truck gets dusty or foot marks, you can easily clean it with a damp cloth.   (in my case I use alcohol).

The next step is more fun.  Decorating!

Make the ladder out of more corrugated board, just a simple rectangle shape, then design it with red and white coloured paper.  Then I hot glued two little pieces of velcro on the back of the ladder to stick it onto the truck.

To design the water pressure gauge, I used aluminium foil to design it instead.  Then I used s bottle cap for the timer.

For the black pipes- I just used rolled up Cardboard paper and some foil for both ends.

I’m sure you can pretty much guess what I did by just looking at the two pictures.  The whole thing is just covered by paper and the top part is painted by black permanent marker.  The hose is made of Trash bag rolled up, easy peasy.

Police Officer Pretend Play for Kids | The Police Song

Almost every weekend I find time to pretend play with Bug.  From princesses and heroes to doctors and fire fighters.  Last weekend we had fun catching robbers as Bug was a police officer! At the end of the video we have a fun police nursery rhyme which Bug and I just loves to sing together and we hope your kids will love too.

The Police Officer Song

When you need help
When you are in trouble
You can count on them
They are ready to help you

Hello Mr. Officer how do you do?
(Very good )
It’s nice to see you around
You make me feel secure
(Oh thank you)
You are the Police

When you need help
When you are in trouble
You can count on them
They are ready to help you

Oh there is a robbery there
someone call the police
(Police alert all the way)
There comes the police
(Oh that’s nice)
Catching the robbers then putting them in jail
(Thank you policeman)
You are always there to help

When you need help
When you’re in trouble
You can count on them
They are ready to help you

Thank you for visiting!

Cardboard Ambulance and Fire Truck

When we moved in our new place last January we have a pile of big cardboard boxes that I just couldn’t dispose of.  My imagination have completely gone wild.  I even created a list of projects that I wanted to do with them and it was only last month that I found the time and space to start my projects.

Check out the Biggest Ambulance complete with a little hospital clinic inside!  To be honest it was not an easy project.  The designing process is the hardest because I wanted it to look cute and fun instead of “too realistic” since my Youtube Channel is about toys.  And I also want it to be very interactive so I made a little hospital inside where doctor Bug and nurse Peppa can do her check up.  The rest is moderately easy because you just need a lot of patience cutting cardboards and papers and then sticking them onto the ambulance plus covering the whole thing with masking tape to make it more durable.

At the end of this funny video I gave a short tutorial on how the whole thing was made so please watch it if you’re interested in making one.

And here’s the Coolest and Biggest Fire Truck!

The main procedure here is the same as the ambulance.

And the challenging part, is always the designing process the rest is just patience and muscle workout because you’ll be using the cutter a lot and bending a lot hahaha!  You’ll know what I mean once you’ve tried this.  (Detailed tutorial and more pictures towards the end of the video)

Bug’s cousins found this video super funny while it teaches them/kids about the jobs of firefighters and what to do when there’s a fire.  It’s about two fire fighters, Peppa Pig and Bug, on a mission to save everyone in the burning hotel.  Spiderman also helped in catching the enemy.

I was already about to give up searching for a fireman costume and was ready to order one custom made for Bug which was btw so expensive and then one weekend in the mall out of the blue while looking for some stationaries with Bug we saw this!

Screen Shot 2016-08-10 at 3.52.25 PM

Wow it was so cheap ( P700 / US $15 ) and it already includes the costume and the helmet, bonus the axe, whistle, badge and the walkie talkie.  A great deal! This fits kids 4 years old and up.

Good luck Guys !  If you have any questions, hit me in the comment and I will surely get back to you. 🙂  Thanx for watchin!
