Haunted Houses (Oct 2013 )

This post is late but I thought I’d share it still since the Weekly Photo Challenge this week is EERIE.   I’m a big fan of Halloween (and Christmas ) decorated houses.  If you have read my previous post, last Halloween I designed a Nightmare Before Christmas Cake for the best Halloween decorated house in Ayala Village.  I took a lot of photos of fabulous houses but since I lost a memory card, I only have a few shots left to show you.  I also lost the photo of the house who had won the 1st prize and lots of kids in costumes ;(

Well thanks again for stopping by 🙂

ABC Award

This is a hard but fun award.  I never spend more than an hour writing an award post but this one was drafted since last week, pathetic right? But I’m still very honored to receive this blogger award given to me by my kind friend SHAUN.   He has a great sense of humor and blogs about super funny stuffs and actually real life serious stuff, that’s how I see his posts.  Moreover, his always there for a chat and just be a friend.  Kindly check out his space @ Praying For One Day

Thanx again Shaun so much for this award and forgive me for taking so long to post this, you see it’s not my fault, my sister’s dog ate my draft and then and then there was a a a terrible landslide… (you believe me right? yayks! )

Lost in the Details

As an artist, I’m attracted to details. To me, the beauty is in the details, they are the very source of expression in art.

Hillside playground

It was a cool sunny morning, the playground is always the first place she wants to visit…

Then I spotted Mr. Ichiban the itchy caterpillar (aka. Painted Pine Moth ) crossing the bridge …

I zoomed in to take a closer look.  “You dare touch me?” asked Mr. Ichiban

Something plain and ordinary can be so beautiful and unique in its details.
