Once upon a time on a magical Christmas day. I baked so many cupcakes and cookies and became very exhausted. Too exhausted to even pour a glass of milk and prepare some cookies on a plate for Santa. Instead I just poured all of the cookies and cupcakes in a large container and placed it on the living room table along with my last carton of fresh milk.
That night before midnight I heard clicking and clacking noises coming from the living room. I grabbed my rolling pin and went to check. You’ll never believe who I saw, Santa Claus and his team of reindeers eating my cookies! In disbelief, I made quite a loud GASP!
Oh no! Santa heard me, he came up to me with his beard full of crumbs and asked “Would you be a dear to let my reindeers and I rest here for a while to let Rudolf digest his food until he’s ready to fly?”
You see, Santa and Rudolf had so much sweets and milk that they felt too heavy to move. And without Rudolf no one can guide Santa’s sleigh, so I offered them our spare room. You may have guessed what happened next. Yup, Santa and Rudolf fell fast asleep.
As for me, I couldn’t get back to sleep. I mean who could? I have THE Santa Clause sleeping at MY house!
I stayed in the living room along with the other reindeers. Namely, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen.
Cupid and Dasher told me about their work at the reindeer stable, that it was hard and dirty but fun because they have a friend penguin name snoozy who helps them…Vixen told me about Santa’s elf, Buddy, who loves caramel popcorn.
Forty minutes later Dasher came to me and told me it’s time to wake Santa and Rudolf up because they still have 8,970,000 more places to go. Long story short Santa granted everything on my wish list.
Best Christmas night ever! HO HO HO EVERYONE !!!
