First of all, I would just like to say thank you to everyone who have messaged me here and/or PM on my facebook page asking how I was after the most terrible typhoon here in the Philippines last week. I was very surprised and touched by your messages even though I was not affected. Thank you so much for your concern. You made me realize that I also have a family here, you know, I can’t just disappear all of a sudden without a proper explanation, especially when a typhoon hit my country.
This isn’t the first time mother nature tried to ruin Christmas in here so I know we’ll come out of this catastrophe quite alright ( I hope ). Although the typhoon did not hit Manila (where I stay ) badly, the news and the family of my friends who were affected really put me in a non-creative gloomy mood. I wish I could do more things besides donating. But on the bright side, most people are helping and reaching out and I really pray that there will still be a merry Christmas for those affected victims.
So (long pause ) ……… Despite being busy this past week, we tried to keep part of our Sundays free for family day. So here’s some things we did : Mini zoo, Fun Ranch, attended a Hula Kid’s Party, adopted a kitty.
I’ve also been rushing quite a lot of things in the kitchen but I’ll leave that to my next post. So I guess that’s all folks!
