Daily Prompt : I Got Skill

If you could choose to be a master (or mistress) of any skill in the world, which skill would you pick?
artistic milestoneI would like to master the skill of Investing, for there are no limits to how much money I can make if I’m excellent at it.   Being good in subjects like accounting and economics is perhaps part of becoming an expert investor but another much more important aspect are the experiences, which is the hard part since it involve a lot of risks/money.   These experiences will enable an investor to make numerous specific or accurate predictions about why the prices of such and such move in a particular direction.   Whenever I have time and in “the mood” I sometimes read about investing but most of the time they bore me to death, they can even cure my insomnia some nights… so perhaps my hope of becoming an expert on that field is nil.

  1. If you don’t try, you’ll never know…. There’s a first step to every journey, Miss Milestone, why don’t you have a bit of faith in yourself and give it a try? 😉
I would like to master the skill of negotiating. That way I’d be able to get my kids to clear up behind them, charms the pants of my bank manager, have my clients eating out of my hand and even be able to solve international conflicts in all the spare time I’d have as a result of my aptitudes. You’ll probably have much more luck with investing, I think.

  2. I am a chemist and never had accounting and economics classes back in school, but I learned how to invest in the stock market and somehow managed to become successful at it. I find it really fulfilling and I have become an advocate of investing as a result. You should give it a try. It’s not as difficult as it seems. Maintaining a blogsite is much more complicated than stock investing, believe me. This is beginning to sound like a sales pitch, but no, I am not selling anything 🙂 Anyway, the skill that I want to master is baking. I have not tried it and I envy people like you who seems to have a flair with it. Kudos to your pretty blog 🙂

    • Thanx so much for the encouragement Lyn, I would certainly try stock investing a little more harder. As for baking, I’ll have to say its easier than you think, easier than maintaining a blogsite lol 🙂
